Usage
Used
as an additive to Duratec polyester primers, Duratec Primer
Pot Life Extender will extend the pot life of the primers
to 45 minutes (at 77°F,
25°C)
without substantially affecting the applied cured rate.

Application
Add
2 percent by weight pot life extender to the primer prior to use and thoroughly
mix before using. Catalyze
the primer as recommended at 2 percent by weight with full strength mekP catalyst
and apply per application instructions for the Duratec primers. Note:
The effect on the primer is temporary. Once the gel time extended is added to
a primer, that primer will slowly return to the original gel time over a two-day
period.
