A product for extending the pot life of Duratec polyester primers.

Usage

Used as an additive to Duratec polyester primers, Duratec Primer Pot Life Extender will extend the pot life of the primers to 45 minutes (at 77°F, 25°C) without substantially affecting the applied cured rate.

Application

Add 2 percent by weight pot life extender to the primer prior to use and thoroughly mix before using.

Catalyze the primer as recommended at 2 percent by weight with full strength mekP catalyst and apply per application instructions for the Duratec primers.

Note: The effect on the primer is temporary. Once the gel time extended is added to a primer, that primer will slowly return to the original gel time over a two-day period.

Duratec Primer Pot Life Extender is extremely flammable. Do not apply near sparks, open flame or heat. Keep area ventilated. Do not smoke. Avoid continueous breathing of vapor. Do not take internally.
