DuraTec Technologies Home

A low-porosity, high-building, fairing and shaping primer for composites, wood, MDF, GRP, foam, plaster and clay.

Usage

Features

You'll save time and labor and add quality with Duratec Polyester Base Primer.

Here's why you should choose Duratec Polyester Base Primer--

Easy to apply -- apply with a sprayer, brush or roller.

Rapid coat buildup--builds quickly--between 1 to 3 mm, 40-120 mils, maximum wet-on-wet application with minimum sag on vertical surfaces.

Quick Shaping--quickly shaped by knife, file or sandpaper.

Fast air curing--saves time. The primer quickly air cures to an easily sandable surface, which provides a stable base for other coatings.

High heat distortion temperature--reduces the risk of post-cure or distortion from elevated temperature due to exotherm and consequential print-through of substrates.
