Hawkeye Industries, Inc. the worldwide distributor of Duratec®, Aqua-Buff®, and StyroSafe® products reached a major milestone in 2008 when it observed the 25th anniversary of its founding.

Founded August 10, 1983 by John Rea and Doug Dennis, Hawkeye today sells more than 60 products through 56 independent distributors across the globe. This is dramatically different from the company's humble beginnings when it offered only three products and had no distribution network.

Aside from the growth in distribution, number of products sold and operating revenues, the company has changed in other respects as well. The company's business offices have moved from Marietta, Georgia to Bloomington, CA; John H. Daller took the reins as president in 2006; and Steve Baggett joined the company as U. S .technical sales representative last year

The company also launched StryoSafe®, an EPS-foam compatible polyester resin, in 2008, and early this year introduced two new Aqua-Buff products, Aqua-Buff Tuff-Stuff® and Aqua-Buff GlossMaster®. You can find information about these products on our site.
